Sebuah perusahaan konsultan riset penerbangan asal Inggris, kembali menggelar World Airline Awards 2015. Skytrax telah merilis 100 maskapai penerbangan terbaik di dunia dimana diumumkan secara langsung di Paris Air Show, Prancis, beberapa hari lalu.
Pemilihan maskapai penerbangan terbaik itu sendiri telah dilakukan sejak tahun 1999 dimana yang menilai adalah pelanggan maskapai penerbangan seluruh dunia. Ada sejumlah kategori yang dibuat Skytrax untuk maskapai penerbangan.
Tahun ini, maskapai penerbangan asal Timur Tengah, Qatar Airways menempati posisi urutan pertama sebagai airlines terbaik dunia.

I know people don’t think much of Delta miles, but I find that they frulneetqy provide good value. We live on the east coast and my wife’s parents live in Bozeman, MT, which has limited flight options (e.g., AA does not fly there, so those miles do me no good). I just redeemed 40,000 Delta miles for a ticket that would have cost $1,052.60. The flights are 1-stop in both directions and have a total flight time of 5 1/2 6 hours (layovers are 45-50 minutes in MSP). I could have bought tickets for different flights for about $725, but those tended to include 6:00 a.m. flights in one direction or the other, have 2-stops in both directions, and have total flight times of 8-9 hours (due to 2 2 1/2 hour layovers). I don’t know exactly how to value this redemption, but because I do assign some value to my time and convenience, I would probably value Delta miles higher than others due to the opportunity for awards like this even recognizing that they are generally worth less than other airline programs.
